FS-104 Starfighter II (6th Gen) Upgrade - Digital Art Download

Product Description

This is a hand made digital sketch of a 2-ship formation of an original F-104 Starfighter with a fictional 6th Generation upgrade and heavily modified FS-104 Starfighter II. The upgraded jet uses a futuristic fusion reactor engine and is made for high altitude missions at the edge of space. It has a larger wingspan for better flight characteristics and greater loadout / payload options.

On the wingtips of the 6th Gen version are notional futuristic Direct Energy Weapon (DEW) pods. The outer underwing hardpoints have active radar AAMs that use an upgraded targeting radar borrowed from the F-16. Inside hardpoints have med-range stand-off cruise missiles.

The upgraded version would be approximately 15% larger overall than the original jet in order to accommodate the additional internal systems (propulsion, sensors, payload, etc).

CRM Space Jets is a futuristic concept for air and space travel designs that will make use of new propulsion technology. It is projected to be part of the coming Blue Cube Rocket invention business.
